Marcus Garvey elevated to the level of an ancestor, 64 years ago, on June 10th, 2004. We can, We must, We will continue to build in the
21st century The UNIA-ACL which was founded 90 years ago in 1914. Our ancestors are
waiting and watching, our elders are still consistent, our youth are coming
in the ranks, and the Lions whom were once the cubs in the UNIA-ACL are
working to uplift Africans at home and abroad. The UNIA-ACL is growing in
numbers all over the world as active dues paying members of the movement. Far to many of our children, still in 2004, are crying and dieing all
over the world due to our continued apathy, lack of self reliance, and the
system of global white supremacy.
Garvey's spirit and his words returning in the
whirlwind have been emulated by many, some only dealing with aspects of
Garveyism and some mis-representing true Race First Garveyism. We in the
UNIA-ACL today deal with wholistic and practical Garveyism and his many
legacies. Marcus Garvey spent only 12 years in the USA, and along with his
travels all over the world, many know of his legacies and the 20th century
works of the UNIA-ACL of the world. The time has come to step up the action,
call on the masses, prepare our youth and forge functional Unity around
Garveyism and the goals and objectives of the UNIA-ACL which is a
confraternity and an interim government for all Africans regardless to where
they were born and currently located. We have lots of work to do to reclaim
our ancient birthright and repair our broken families today. Garvey and the
UNIA-ACL still serves as the strongest and most effective example of self
reliance and self determination our race has manifested. We all owe it to
the ancestors, elders and Africa to rise up 21st century Garveyism. It is
past time to reclaim our lands, resources, and righteous humanity.

divisions are forming, old divisions from around the world are reconnecting,
and many are now becoming aware the UNIA-ACL never left and is continuing
the work needed for 21st Century upliftment.
So now you know Garvey has
returned in the Whirlwind as he said he would, what are you doing today to
carry your load? Together we shall return to our own creative genius
and make the 21st century the rise of our African Awareness, African Power,
African Unity, and our African Nations!
