As-Salaam Alaikum,
Thank you my Sister, I have been
reading about all of this. As a nation of people we should take on the
teachings of our Wise Men, His Excellency The Honorable Marcus Garvey and
The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Peace Be Upon
Them both, learn and practice "LOVE
OF SELF AND KIND!"
"LOVE YOUR BLACK SELF!" "BLACK IS
THE COLOR WE SHOULD LOVE TODAY...!"...Elijah Muhammad, Messenger of Allah
to the Black Man and Woman in America
and throughout the Universe of Black!
Further, we need to investigate and
teach our children, how the negative connection between "niggardliness"
(miserliness, stinginess, greediness, trifflingness, sloughfulness etc,
etc) between one in the same with or negative appellatives: "negro"
"coloured" "pickanniny" "giggaboo" "shine" "spliv""spook" became
identifiers for Original Asiatic Black Man and Woman,
(chattel and free slaves America in
particular)? This despite the availability of "higher" education which
should result in a better code of behavior (when we learn better, we do
better!)
This would seem to be a contradiction
when it comes of the American so-called Negro! The campaign to dispose of
the N-word is a good start, but
we can't stop there! Have we asked
ourselves "why would a Black person pay their hard earn money to go see a
white comedian who isn't even funny?" By doing so, we insult ourselves!
Let's "STOP spending our money in places
where we are NOT wanted!"...(From the
