Integrity is doing what is right when no one is looking or may find out.

Integrity is doing what is right when everyone else around you is compromised.

If you have to compromise to stay on the team, you are on the wrong team.

I heard the above quote, at a retirement ceremony in 1993, spoken by a retiring Navy Rear Admiral.  Little did I know how much the words would be retained in my spirit. Their meaning was a clear as a bell, to be honest.  I immediately wrote them on his retirement booklet, as he said them.  I later made a quick Word Poster for my cubicle wall.  That file called me the other day, for I felt the following words pouring out of my spirit.

 Integrity:

  1. Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.  (Dictionary.com)

  2. Firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values (MW)

  3. Cross-Definition: Honest: Marked by or displaying integrity; upright: an honest lawyer. 2. Not deceptive or fraudulent; genuine: honest weight. 3. Equitable; fair: honest wages for an honest day's work. 4a. Characterized by truth; not false: honest reporting. b. Sincere; frank: an honest critique. 5a. Of good repute; respectable.  (AH)

Be a person with integrity, and people will respect you long after you have become an Ancestor.
