The King of POP
A celebration of life! |

Ok, The Doctor has finally been charged. It took long enough! I say Murder, but that's me. He did not take care of his charge during his watch, and the man died because of his negligence. Murder, I say! Why is it so hard? Well since OJ's ex-family-in-law charged him in a civil trial and got all of his assets, I guess MJJ's family gotta do the same, huh? This man left the world with a hole in it's collective heart, and caused an unnecessary international emotional crisis. He need to pay for that. Time, I say,, big time. Now on to John Mayer. I understand he had an interview with Time the day after MJJ passed, and lost his mind.
"Michael Jackson proves, in a really sort of perverse
way, that maybe we're not as offended by behavior as we are
entranced by music. And think about that. Think about what level of
quality you must have to attain to have somebody say, "I know that
you're accused of having molested children, but I can't hate you for
that as much as I love you for your music." I'm not saying that's
right or wrong; I'm saying that it's fascinating. That somebody
could be that great. That somebody could have that much of a
marriage with your emotions just through music. Umm,, John,,,, I think you should rethink that mess right there. It looks like you have been tripping for some time now. I understand you insulted your ex's and said the real naughty "N" word. It seems some one asked you about a 'hood' pass. That term means that you have been accepted into African American society as someone who respects our culture. While I will address that in an Editorial, I want to have a few word on this MJJ mess that you allowed to slip out of your mouth. "Michael Jackson proves, in a really sort of perverse way, that maybe we're not as offended by behavior as we are entranced by music" Let me show you how much people can be offended by behavior by BOYCOTTING your music! Maybe you should ask Chris Brown how that is working out for him. This is my first time seeing this, and I guess it said was during your "clever" period. It seems you have been trying to be clever for 7 months now. I don't find it clever at all. The definition of clever is: "marked by wit or ingenuity". I find your comments to be neither. They are offensive and condemn a man whose Memorial you later played. The Jackson Family must have not known you said that mess. Unless you flayed yourself at the feet of Mrs. Katherine Jackson in front of the rest of the Jackson family, I have no idea how they ALLOWED you to be a part of MJJ's Homegoing celebration knowing you said that mess. I can't speak for the Jackson Family, but as a fan of MJJ's let me explain something to you. If it wasn't for you playing at MJJ's Memorial Celebration, I would have no idea who you are. You see, I don't keep up with Celebrities. I do, however pay attention to artist and musicians. Watching you do honor to MJJ via his hit cut, Human Nature was a wonder. I had no idea who you were, but you jammed the song and respected Mr. J. Cool! I started looking for your music. Now that I have seen this mess, you can forget about me buying your music. That will never happen, and you can cry me a river, dude. You got some issues to work out and I will not pay for your rehab, Dr.'s bills, or whatever. At the least, you should apologize to The Jackson Family and the Fans of MJJ in a written statement, and I am not talking some mess on Twitter. I mean a formal apology on your personal letterhead. If it is written in your personal handwriting, it will go a long way. If your label or personal PR people put out a type written statement or some mess goes up on YouTube, Facebook, or any web site other then your personal site, it will not have a positive impact. In fact it will be talked about as a pr stunt. I give you this advice for free. Not because you mean anything to me, but because your fans deserve better than what you have been giving recently. John, do yourself a favor and do not try to play games with the press. As you just learned, it can be a dangerous game. Many better than you have attempted to do the same and have been burned. It is a wise person who thinks 3 times before they speak. As the Editor of this Newsletter, I speak from experience. I see pr madness on a daily basis and you do not want to be on the bad side of the press, but I think you maybe starting to see my point. |
