Peace and Blessings Family, It’s been awhile since I laid fingers to keyboard from my mind to yours. I pray you are thriving amid the chaos we are now living within. You know how I am; I keep my eye on everything rolling around me. That’s my thing, it’s what I do. I guess that’s why I am the Web Queen (smile).
JUST DO THE THANG! Now you know if I named a pc after Khallid, I named his successor. But of course I did. May I introduce my second all black PC. This one has a Black Star on the upper left corner on the monitor and the above mentioned wrist ban don his upper right corner. Ok, enough of the word games. May I formally introduce you to Marcus. Come on, what else would a self-respecting Garveyite Web Queen name her PC? (Smile) Marcus and I are starting what looks to be a beautiful relationship. He does the wonderful things I need him to do, shows me the possibilities of the future and I give him the power he needs. Love is a wonderful thing. (smile) I gotta give Marcus his props, he has been a lifesaver in assisting the speedy recovery of some file and downloading software I had to re-install and or re-buy (ugg). With that said, the AG now presents an AG Music Area. It is said that you can get to know some one by the music they listen to, as music is a song of the heart. If that's true, welcome to my heart by going to the AG Music Area. I listen to a lot of the music that's in that area while I am working online. Pan African Community News The UNIA-ACL has elected a new President-General. Please see the UNIA-ACL web site for additional information. I have been introduced to many new online Pan African communities. Please take some time and check them out.
Personal Update (Welcome to my world) December 29, 2007, I started my Golden years. Yep - I turned 50. I don't understand people who trip off the number of years they have been on the planet. I want every elder reading this to assist me in completing this sentence.. "Every day above ground ..." (is a good day).. Yeah it is. That is straight truth right there. I had a conversation with an Elder recently and he knowing my Zodiac sign (Capricorn) and Numerology number (9) as well as I do said "You guys are old at birth, strive to get where you want to be, and chill as you get older like you revert to what should have been your childhood days." How true that comment is. I am amazed how much fun I have been having since I turned 40. I heard the mess that I was supposed to do a "meltdown" in my later years. How wrong they are! I am having big fun, but I understand it is my personal attitude concerning aging that determines how I feel about my age. My maternal history is that Tyree's live almost forever (smile) and still are able to run thier lives and homes in the process. I have seen two generations of Tyree women do such, and I assume I will be able to do so as well. I am able to see Rasta Elders doing thier thing, so why can't I? Let us be careful to be as vigilant in 2009 as we have been in the past. Happy New Year! |
