the accusations of those that feel a need
to label me as such. I feel quite strongly on this subject, so I
must speak out.
To young Women everywhere: If you behave and dress in a self-respectful manner, Men will not disrespect you. People will only treat you in the way that you allow them. If your actions and dress are self- respectful, you will not bring disrespect to you. I have seen the outrageous manner of dress and behavior that young Women have today, and I must say.. "It is trashy!" I understand that peer pressure is a horrible thing to attempt to go against. You may be called out if you attempt to be unique or correct, however, the madness must stop. If you wear clothes that show parts of your body that are sacred, then that part of your body is no longer sacred, and is available for public view and comment. some so-called Man comments on it. It
is a Man's nature to look at Women. If the man is alive, he will
look.
The deciding factor of whether a Man will make a lewd comment is riding on how you carry yourself and how you dress. Believe it! I am not a prude, I do not believe that rape is caused by the way that a Woman dresses, as there are some really sick folks out there, nor am I that old. I have Men, of all ages, constantly around me. Most of the Men I know, consider me their Sister, so I hear things, that you won't. One of the major complaints that I hear, is that Women are not aware of the affects of their actions, dress or speech. If you are loud and your speech is overly filled with cursing, you may be considered "Low". If you dress in a trashy way, you may be considered "Low". If you behave in a trashy way, you may be considered "Low", and no one wants to be considered "Low". I would rather die than to be considered a "Low" |
