The Lemming's March 

To the uninitiated of you that don't know what a lemming is,....I shall explain:

A Lemming is a small, furry, rodent that is indigenous to the sub-artic regions........

Now--whether it be truth or myth--it is said that at certain times during these small creatures lifespan, for no apparent reason, they will start a solemn march of destruction to the precipice of a cliff overlooking a vast body of water and will plunge--down, down, down--into the waves. And--not knowing how to swim--they drown. THOUSANDS upon thousands of them.

No one knows why they commit this act of mass genocide. It is as if they heed the call of some silent or otherworldly entity. As I stated earlier, I don't know if this is myth or not--but I was always fascinated by the reading of this tale........

It is when I got older and started the study of  LIFE, and my PEOPLE, that I begin to overstand and learn a lesson from my observations of the lemming.......

Some blak folk are just like the lemming in that they will create and do actions that they KNOW will spell catastrophe for our people and themselves--but they just don't give a DAMN!!!!

They will march--like the lemming--into destruction with a grin on their faces...They migrate towards danger and self-hatred--as if  DRAWN by a magnet....Like Nero, they will fiddle a tune while flames leap all around.....They have no conscience in this at all. And this I can prove.....

A drug dealer sells drugs to empower and enrich himself...it doesn't matter that he destroys lives and families by his INSANE quest for a dollar...He lives in the HERE and NOW--the future of blak folk doesn't concern him. He may be enslaving his own folk by the hundreds of thousands to a drug--but like our friend, the lemming--he is on a walk to annihilation.....

A woman will sell her body to feed her habit, exposing herself to all sorts of diseases--because the urge for the drug is stronger than the bond of the family that cries for her.......

A blak representative will get elected, by his people, to serve honestly and just. He will use the campaign slogan of  being "for, and of, the people". He will then go to Washington and sign his name to any, and every, bill that will NOT benefit folks in the ghetto--but will enrich the FAT CATS in "tight-ass" suits who pay him off in secret....

A "buck-dancing" Uncle Tom will scratch his head and "skin" for his boss. He will snitch and "brown nose" trying to curry favor--knowing, full well, that his antics sets us BACK even further......

Blak folk will commit acts of violence against other blak folk guaranteeing that ghetto mothers and fathers will mourn the loss of their children, and jail cells will be bursting open at the seams with the perpetrators of the crimes.....

Some blak female will look at her lovely blak skin as a curse, and will do all that she can to alter the NATURAL beauty that the CREATOR gave her.....

A "handkerchief-head" Aunt Jemima will serve white folk with extreme dedication and will teach her daughter to do the same, thereby, keeping another generation of blak women ENSLAVED.....

Some drunken fool will stand on the street corner spewing blak self-hatred from his chapped lips...He will then beg "supreme" OTHER beings for quarters so he can buy himself  a "half-a-shot"......  

Some "thug" will wait until a family leaves to go visit kinfolk in another state--that's when he will break in and steal all their valuables that they worked so HARD to amass......

A blak person will go to ghetto schools and graduate. They will enroll in some prestigious college. They will graduate on the "dean's list", get a high profile job in a fortune 500 company--and then look down their noses at blak folk less fortunate than themselves........

Some immature "momma's boy" will get scores of women pregnant and REFUSE to spend time with his offspring or support them......

Blak religious leaders will sell out to the "pulpit of greed" and buy fine clothes and cars from the hard-earned dollars of their ghetto flock.....

Various music makers will make music that demeans women and glorifies violence--against their own.....So they can sell to MILLIONS......

All of these stated--and unstated--people follow the voice of their unseen and unspoken MASTER. In this case, master, being:  the SYSTEM, itself.

Again, like the story of the lemming, they march headlong into the abyss--never to be seen any more. They KNOW what they do is counter-productive to Blak liberation--but they are so mind-controlled and trained to self-destructive habits....they lack the mental fortitude to break free.........

Their minds are so confused and ripped apart--they function as DISRUPTORS within our midst. They are so greedy.....they will sell their own people back into bondage--like those African Kings of not-so-long ago. And still, they don't CARE. So, they just "skin and grin" and "tap-dance" on their merry way. With 'nary a care in the world..........

BUT, I hear a voice echoing in the distance.......

This voice rings loud and true. It's strong and restless murmurings shall reverberate through the ghettoes the world over. This voice shall open the eyes and ears of the people. And this voice the people will trust, heed, and follow.....

This voice shall wipe away ALL tears and cast out infidels within our midst. This voice will run roughshod over all systems of injustice and oppression. And whose or what voice shall that be?........

The voice of Freedom and Liberation for ALL blak folk-----that's WHAT!!!
