We Are They....

WE are they that cry bitter tears of frustration at being deprived of our human rights all over the planet.....

WE are they that are locked in a cubicle of economic mediocrity and are starving by the millions in our Mother Country because of the racist practices of a Ameri-European alliance.....

WE are they that mourn for our ancestors who were sold as cattle to appease the greed of Southern America--and couldn't do a DAMN thing about it......

WE are they that speak in "soft" tones--afraid to say what we really feel about the sad state of OUR America for fear of reprisals.......

WE are they that close their eyes to the UNEQUAL practices of this republic--to earn a living or "title"--and to survive......

WE are they that can only hear their "MASTER'S voice"--and NOT the voice of reason.

WE are they that brought "original" music and art to America only to see it CO-OPTED by the caretakers of this white supremacist system and used for THEIR profit and benefit.....

WE are they that "buck-dance" and "skin & grin" to soothe the gigantic ego of "Mr. Charlie" and keep him laughing......

WE are they that would like to re-formulate this elitist system and start anew with proper emphasis on the issues that affect PEOPLE in ALL walks of life--and not just the affluent......

WE are they whose backs are bent over and feet are sore from holding up a system that never rewards us for OUR excellence--it only steals from us and manipulates our minds into self-destructive behavior......

WE are they that are locked into modern day "concentration camps"--called "prisons"--by the multitudes, albeit, disproportionately.....

WE are they that are the "last hired and first fired".......

WE are they that were used as "guinea pigs", by this country, in the Tuskeegee Experiments to explore the long term effects of the syphilis virus on humans.......

WE are they that are hated because of our skin color and athletic prowess.......

WE are they that even though we were born in this country,....need an amendment to the Constitution to be included in the so-called "melting pot"........

WE are they that were decorated for bravery in wars fought--only to face injustice on our own shores.......

WE are they that lay in unmarked graves all over this country....victims of hate crimes.......

WE are they that felt the sting of the lash and the pain of being dubbed something other than "human".........

WE are they that watched our leaders get cut down, one by one, until then there were none......

BUT......We are they that will one day rise to fulfill the promise that was left to us by our ancestors as THEIR legacy....

WE are they that will join hands--not to sing or march--but work together to end the suffering of OUR people across the land and sea....

And WE are they they won't stop until we get JUSTICE, FREEDOM and EQUALITY, in ALL things, all over the globe--by whatever means the CREATOR deems is appropriate.....

WHO are WE?.................

Blak People, you KNOW who you are....

And SOON, we shall show THEM what we are made of..........
