An Open Letter ...........

Dear Uncle Tom and Aunt Jemima, I am writing this letter to you to implore that you stop the foolish behavior that you exhibit. You have been a thorn in the side of blak liberation ever since you stepped off the slave ship. You are a constant embarrassment to all so-called "people of color" and we want you to stop the B.S, or get the HE** out of our midst!

If I recall correctly,...weren't you the one that owned slaves--just like white folks did. And didn't you run--like the "snitch" that you are--and report to the authorities about the revolt that Nat Turner had under way. You even fought for the Confederate Army during the Civil War. When slavery ended, you tried to make us stay on the plantation telling us, "What we 'gon do without 'massa? We need to stay right here..."

You accepted segregation with a grin on your face, and felt our situation in this country was hopeless. You would rather shine shoes and tap dance for nickels--than try to offer words of encouragement to a brother or sister in need. This kind of behavior is unacceptable--and is going to stop!

YOU are a detriment to all blak revolutionary thought. You helped run Marcus Garvey and Master Fard Muhammad out of their organizations. You, and your kind, assassinated Malcolm X. You sided with the system when it betrayed Paul Robeson. You hated the Panthers--even though what they were doing was a benefit to us as a people. Anything that YOU feel is a threat to this system and it's main proponents--you are decidedly against.

Your "blind" love of the oppressor is a theory that will NEVER work. The oppressor has no feelings of remorse towards those that are oppressed--or he wouldn't have put them in a state of subjugation in the FIRST place. He asserts his will over those that HE feels are minor or a sub-species. So, he has no conscience for what he does--it is his manifest destiny to rule these "mongrel" beings, in HIS estimation.

But, there you go "buck-dancing", "skinnin & grinnin", and scratching your head...agreeing with the 'folks--whether it's in the best interest of BLAK folk or not. It doesn't bother you the least--you are a selfish, stupid individual that feels that your salvation is in the system or how many backsides that you can kiss.

You run your mouth like it's some atomic weapon--wreaking destruction with every word that you speak. You are a divisive moron who wants to sound important and doesn't know what in hades you're talking about.

You'll sell drugs to your own kind--just as long as you make a profit. It doesn't matter how many lives that you destroy or how many families you disrupt--just so you can wear gold and drive some loud car. You think it gives you a certain status--but you look just like a rhinoceros in a mini skirt and high heels......in other words: STUPID.

You are a complete sell-out and traitor to blak folk every where.  And, as "white-oriented" as you are--you just don't give a damn. Self-degradation? No bother--as long there's something in it for YOU. "When in ROME do as the romans do"--that's the creed that you live by.

You sing, "We Shall Overcome"--but have no faith that we ever will. You refuse to support blak institutions and places of learning. These are unacceptable to you. You would rather go downtown and rub elbows with those you feel are in a better economic situation--to give YOU something. You view Mother Africa in the same way that the system does: A bunch of wild, half-naked "heathens" immersed in some kind of voodoo cult; practicing cannibalism on each other. And we know that's not true.

You're ashamed of your own culture, so like some parasite, you try to "bogart" or graft your self onto the culture that you feel is superior. You latch on to Mr. Charlie....then you go running to catch all the crumbs and leftovers from his table. Go right on ahead...you have my permission to leave. We don't want or need a homogenized idiot--like yourself, anyway.

We need a people that is not afraid or ashamed to embrace their culture or heritage; we need folk that will stand up to the system and demand change; we need individuals that will learn to work together for the good of US--not some "elitist" fools bowing down to the alter of ignorance......hero-worshipping a system and people who just don't give a damn about them.

 This is a form of "IDOLATRY". When the morals and attitudes of a society take precedence over the laws of GOD--then, that's when you need to check yourself.

I'm going to end this letter now. I'm asking you to change or re-evaluate your view points--and until you do--I ask to be disassociated with you as a family member--and it's all about FAMILY.
