Today, more so than I have recently, I find myself thinking of or summing up my year.  I think we all do that toward the end of the year.  It is natural to evaluate ourselves and what better time than the end of the year?

So how do we rate? Did we come closer to being what we want to be?  Did we achieve the goals we set?  Good questions, very good ones.

I ask another set however.  Did we become a better person?  Did we show love, warmth, or compassion?  Did we enrich our relationship to the earth?  Did we notice flowers, trees, pretty clouds?

Did we fine tune the greatest relationship we have, the one with The CREATOR?  Did you say "Thank You", or "Please"?  Did we sit in a quiet place and listen to what was being spoken to the  heart?  Did we read our Holy Books for a better understanding?  Did we question our religions leaders for a a better understanding?  Did we challenge evil when it presented it self or did we shirk that responsibility?  Did we donate or perform charities?

So how do we rate now?  Are we still on a good footing or do we still have some work to do?  I don't know about you, but I know I got some work to do. and hopefully I will be able to do the work I was charged to do for a long time.
