The state of our school buildings have reached an atrocious stage. Children are being taught in ancient, dilapidated and outdated, buildings with several code violations. They are forced to learn in overcrowded classrooms, some with falling plaster and uncovered heating devices.....

About 50 people were displaced from their homes yesterday as a fire raged through the inner city apartment house where they lived. Some escaped with only the clothes on their back. REALITY: In lighter news, police shot a blak homeless man in the streets, today, after he stole a loaf of bread.....He was shot after police thought he was reaching for a weapon which turned out to be his wallet....This incident is being reviewed by police.
