THOUGHTS FROM THE MIND OF....

I have a few things which have been on my mind that I would like to touch on.  I say touch because each is a dissertation of it's own.  Please bear with me as I explore a few tunnels of my mind.

Cincinnati:   The cop, who was charged with the murder of  Brother Timothy Thomas which sparked the Spring 2001 riots, was acquitted this week.  Look at this mess,,,http://www.cincypost.com/

Anti Muslim Attacks:  I will not tolerate it around me.  We as a people must take time and see these attacks for what they are.  Racism and Religious Bigotry!  When Oklahoma was bombed, no one in this country attempted to attack the Militia and the White Supremacist who created Tim McVeigh, so let's take all of this in proper perspective and get a grip!  Any man or woman of color who act or speak in this manner should take time and talk to your elders.

Computer Terrorist:  What in the blue blazes make a person think about hacking into a web server, a web site, e-mail server, send viruses and cause hell over the internet?  There was a recent bill passed that those doing this mess should acquaint themselves with.  You see the USA wants to jail hackers for LIFE!  That's right LIFE!!! Anti War:   I am very glad to see that people understand that in the blink of an eye we could start what could end the world as we know it. Everyone and their Grandmother have represented themselves (internal and external people of color and not) as being anti-war.  Please see http://dc.indymedia.org/ for the latest developments of the DC Anti-War rally.

Mumia Abu-Jamal:  Now that some one has confessed to the murder of Mr. Faulkner, how can Mumia still sit on Death Row and not get a 'fair trial'?  See this site for additional information:  http://www.mumia.org/freedom.now/

These are some of the topic I have been battling with for a few days.  Living, as I do, at Ground Zero (Banneker Village, aka Washington, DC) maybe I see life on a different level than most who read this site. Maybe not, but I must speak out on that I see and feel.
